We would like to provide you with some updates on the Hydrogen Infrastructure Map, a project started in 2022 and supported by GEODE and other trade associations aimed at showing on an interactive map all the planned hydrogen infrastructure projects (including at distribution level) across Europe.
The map will be updated two times per year (Q2 and Q4) and the Q4 update for 2023 is now open. This means that if you are working on an hydrogen infrastructure project (it can be at any stage e.g. feasibility study, initial planning, FID) you are invited to complete a simple survey with all the information related to your project by 12 October (the earlier the better). The survey is available on the map’s website or directly at this link.
Beyond providing a great opportunity to increase the visibility of your project, the map can also reinforce GEODE’s argument for a separation between hydrogen distribution and transmission as part of the revision of the Gas Package, currently in its final stages.
