ENLIT Europe 2026

We are pleased to announce that GEODE will once again partner with ENLIT Europe, the leading event for the energy sector focused on the energy transition and decarbonisation. This year’s edition will take place in Vienna from 10-12 November 2026.

As in previous years, GEODE will have a stand (C.c33) at the exhibition, located next to the EU Project Zone in Hall C. Several GEODE representatives and members will speak across Summit and Hub sessions on topics including EU energy policy, grid technologies, AI, flexibility and gas grid decarbonisation. GEODE will also organise a dinner for its members attending ENLIT on 10 November at 19:30 (location TBC).

GEODE experts will be speaking in the following sessions:

• Carolina       Wistén, Nordion Energi – Accelerating the       Greening of the Gas Grid (Summit), 10 November, 14:00-15:00.This panel will explore how to accelerate and better coordinate the greening of Europe’s gas grids, as natural gas remains important for household heating and electrification remains challenging in some industrial sectors.
• Hans       Kreisel, GEODE Chairman and CEO of Nordion Energi – Europe’s Energy Policy: Still Fit for 55? Or unfit for       purpose? (Summit), 11 November, 14:00-15:00.This panel will explore whether the EU’s evolving energy and climate policy framework remains fit for purpose in today’s volatile environment, or whether some policies and initiatives need to be reconsidered.
• Pablo       López, Gridfy/Cuerva – New Power Grid       Technologies & Projects (Grid Transformation Hub), 10 November,       15:45-17:15.This session will showcase the latest software and hardware technologies and projects designed to improve electricity grid operation at both transmission and distribution levels.
• Kati       Kinnunen & Miikka Luosmaa, Helen Electricity – Generative AI in Assist (Digitalisation: Data &       Protection Hub), 10 November, 15:30-17:30. This session will explore how generative AI is being used to optimise grids, integrate renewables and reduce emissions, and assess progress on Europe’s AI and energy roadmap.
• Geir       Abusdal, Glitre Nett – Flexibility       Services: Incentivising Consumer Participation (Consumers &       Flexibility Hub), 10 November, 15:45-17:00. This session will showcase programmes and projects that incentivise consumers to provide flexibility services, helping DSOs reduce the need for costly network expansion.
