GEODE Study Trip 2026

Following the success of the GEODE Study Trip 2024 in the United States, GEODE is pleased to organise a new edition in 2026. This year’s study trip will take place in the United Kingdom from 12-16 October 2026. A provisional programme has been prepared by the Secretariat and remains subject to change. The trip will begin in Edinburgh on Monday 12 October before continuing to Perth on 13 October, where participants will visit at Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution (SSEN) the Pitlochry Dam and the Griffin Wind Farm The day programme will also include a visit to the SSEN Distribution North Network Management Centre, followed by a transfer to Glasgow. Participants will spend 14 October in Glasgow before travelling to London for the final two days of the trip. The provisional programme and registration form has been shared with GEODE members.
